I stumbled upon this recipe on my recipe testing journey of making frozen watermelon margaritas. I realized that before you pour the booze in, blending frozen watermelon with a bit of liquid made this really simple and yummy frozen ice mixture. We’ll call this recipe a win in the the kid friendly side effect of margarita testing column.
- 3 cups 1 inch pieces frozen watermelon
- ¼ cup milk or your favorite non-dairy milk
- 4 mint sprigs, for garnish
Place frozen watermelon into a food processor and pulse a few times to get it moving. Continue pulsing while streaming in the milk. Pulse until combined and almost totally smooth. Scoop into small serving bowls and garnish with a mint sprig.
